Few posts ago, I did a post on CTM routine in the mornings. Today I am here again and I will be telling you all about necessary steps for a perfect night time skin care routine.
We all know our skin cells replenish and rejuvenate themselves at night so it becomes all the more important to use the products in the right order and way. Let’s see how you can achieve a flawless skin with a consistent skin care routine.
So let’s get started!
Remove all dirt, grime and makeup from your face
This is the basic thing that you should do before starting your skin care routine. You can use any wipes to remove excess oils, dirt, grime and makeup off your face. I use baby wipes as I feel they work best on my sensitive-combination skin.
Cleanse your face
Sometimes traces of dirt and grime get left out after wiping your face so I always follow up with a gentle cleanser. You can use any face wash or cleanser to cleanse your face properly.
Tone your face
Next step is to use a toner on your face. A toner helps with the pores effectively. Use a toner that is free of alcohol as alcohol can be really drying on the face. If you don’t want to use any fancy toner then go for gulab jal, it works amazingly well on the face.
Use a Serum
Serums hep with the issues of uneven skin tone, dull skin, fine lines, and more! They have minute particles which penetrate deep into the skin and provide added benefits. So incorporating a serum in your routine might be a good idea.
A night cream
Once you have applied your serum, the next step would be to go for hydrating night cream. A night cream will ensure that your face is all moisturized and all the products seep really well into your skin. You can go for night cream that helps you with your skin issues. Also do not forget to use the cream on your neck also!
An eye cream
An eye cream protects the very delicate area under your eyes, reducing puffiness and dark circles. A good eye cream will help in preventing the onset of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. If you are just starting out then go for lightweight gel based creams but if you are over 30 then go for an ultra moisturizing and hydrating eye cream.
