Winters call for dry and chapped which need utmost care. Festive season is also here in full swing and most of us want to have those luscious looking lips. Well here are few things that you need to have to achieve that enviable pout.
Let’s get started!
This is like the most inexpensive thing in my kitty and it does the job well of moisturizing and healing the dry and chapped lips. You can apply a thick layer of Vaseline on your lips before you start applying makeup. Before applying lipstick, just remove it all using a tissue. This will prep your lips for smoother lipstick application.
Exfoliating the lips helps to get rid of any dry flakes from the lips and prepare them for lipstick application. There are many brands available in the market offering readymade lip scrubs. You can DIY a lip scrub for yourself. Just take granulated sugar and add a bit of olive oil to it. Apply this mixture on your face in circular motions and don’t forget to moisturise your lips after!
Tinted lip balm
You are spoilt for choice when it comes to lip balms. Most of the makeup brands have their own collection of tinted lip balms. When you are feeling too lazy and want something hassle free on your lips then look no further than tinted lip balms.
Not all of us can achieve that enviable and precise application of lipstick without a lip brush. We all need a lip brush to fill in small corners of the lips properly. If your lipstick application turns out to be messy then do try applying your lipstick with a lip brush.
My life would be so incomplete without different lipstick shades. A girl can never have enough lipsticks. A nude lippie should be there to complement those dramatic eyes while a red lippie should be there to transform you into a glam diva.
If you are beginner then you can start from an MLBB shade, a coral lipstick or an everyday pink shade. Then you can gradually move ahead to darker versions of different lip shades.
