Back stage experts at Lakme Fashion Week bring to you the latest trend of ‘The Illuminated Look’, with a range of makeup that helps create red carpet luster every day. A crème lipstick that delivers high color pay off with a reflective shimmer finish.
The lipstick comes in a black cardboard packaging and it contains all the necessary details about the product. The lipstick tube is charcoal grey in colour which looks a bit glossy. The lipstick has the range name printed in white and it also has a label at the bottom stating the colour name.
The lipstick comes with a regular twist-up mechanism with an additional locking system and it shuts with a click sound.
It is a deep burgundy shade with strong violet hints. It is really dark and a really pigmented shade. You get full on colour intensity in single swipe. If dark and vampy shades are your cup of tea then do go for this one from the range. It has very minute shimmers which are not that bothering as they give the shade a metallic sheen.
This colour comes from the brown family. It is a deep brown shade with reddish and slight plum undertones. This shade is also dark and colour pay-off is really great. The lipstick has silver shimmers finely milled into it. The shimmers are highly visible but do not look chunky.
Both the lippies have nice creamy textures which go on really smoothly on the lips and glide like a butter. There is no tugging or pulling and the lipsticks set to a velvety finish.
As I told you earlier, both the lipsticks have amazing colour pay-off in single swipe. However if you want even darker lips then you can definitely build up more intensity with another swipe.
The formula is creamy, which leads to transferring of the product. Both the lipsticks also tend to cling to dry patches and they also settle into fine lines after few hours. So prepping your lips is a must. These lipsticks stay around 4-5 hours in me without any budging.
The colours lose their intensity with meals and shimmers present in the lipstick look more prominent after a while.
However the dark colours don’t stain the lips so removing them would not be a hassle.
Pros of Lakme Burgundy Beam And Chestnut Shimmer:
